On December 18th 2015 (6 months following my 1st powerlifting competition) I tested my 1RM in the Squat, Bench and Deadlift. I recently switched over to a "sumo" style deadlift, which I was very excited to test at a max load.
Unfortunately, my gym did not have enough weight plates for my desired 415 deadlift attempt and neither did any local stores (gotta love upstate NY! #Binghamton).
Decided to do the test anyway, since I've never captured on film a +1,000 pound powerlifting total, and I could hit that with the weight in the gym. I attempted max reps @385 on deadlifts to compensate.
